Day 3 and Day 22

Okay, this is totally crazy! I have already lost 3 lbs. and I feel amazing! I was a little hungry yesterday and I had a slight headache from sugar withdrawl, but other than that I feel like I have so much energy! I made more raw chocolate chip cookies today and they are amazing! My kids love them! I have been eating salad like crazy and my shakes are so delicious! I am still trying to figure out the whole bean thing, but my dad is going to help me find a good way to eat them.
Service today is writing letters to my family members who are so far away! I miss them so much! I love getting mail and it lifts my spirits when I hear from my family! Family is so amazing! I hope that everyone loves their families as much as I love mine and Kyle's! If you are having problems with your family, clear it up now. Life is too short to be angry or to have bad feelings for someone. I pray that my children will always love each other as much as they love each other right now! It warms my heart when Natali leaves for piano lessons and she gives her sisters a kiss and hug and says goodbye to them! I love watching Emily and Kathryn playing house under my kitchen table together. I love hearing Audrey and Natali giggling like crazy on their way downstairs to get ready for bed. They are all such good friends and I pray that they stay that way!
-Do you have a good relationship with your siblings? I would like some comments so please tell me about your family!!.....is anyone out there? I know my sister-in-law is reading this. Anyone else?

  1. I have this one brother . . . I can't stand him . . . just kidding!! I feel bad for Ben a lot because he doesn't have as positive a relationship with his family as I do with mine. Seeing the difference in our two families makes me want to have bunches of kids.
I made some Pinterest no sugar cookies last night. Eh. They were fine. Isaac LOVES them though. Since they're full of stuff that I'd totally feed him and think it was healthy, I've given him about 10 of those cookies today. Your salad diet is giving me cravings for salad. I'm going to have to make a special trip to the store tomorrow for some lettuce. Mmmmmm lettuce.
I thought of a 30-day thingy that you could do--well, I stole it from someone. I was reading in my BYU Magazine yesterday and a BYU religion teacher wrote an article about how he challenged his mission prep students to meet someone new for a week or month or something like that. They couldn't just introduce themselves, but they had to have a substantive conversation with them--actually meet them. This would be REALLY hard for me but I think you have better social skills than I do and it would probably be fun for you.

  2. Wow! I think that would be really hard for me too, but it sounds like a great challenge! I'm always saying that I don't know anybody! Especially in the non-member category. I would like to meet some new people, but they would probably think I was a nut and I would actually have to leave my house! I'm thinking I like this idea! Thanks Jenna!
Tell Ben that we love him!...and I totally understand about that brother of yours!
